Mr. Gerry Chng, Partner, Ernst & Young Advisory Pte Ltd

Gerry Chng is a Partner with Ernst & Young’s Advisory Services Practice and has over 12 years of experience in IT risk management and information security consultation. He heads up the Advanced Security Center in Singapore, one of four global Advanced Security Centers specializing in Attack & Penetration Testing, Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessments, IT Risk Management, and IT Governance. His core specialization is in the area of web application security and IT Governance, where he frequently advices clients on application security issues as well as organization on the effective governance of information systems.

Gerry is also the Information Security leader for Ernst & Young's Far East Area practice, and he holds CISA and CISM certifications, and is also a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. Gerry is a regular speaker at the annual Computerworld Security forum and has been invited to speak at several other conferences such as the Internet Trust Symposium hosted by MSCTrustGate, Cisco Security Summit, Banking Vietnam 2008 Conference & Expo at HCMC on “Global Information Security Trends” and events hosted by the ISACA, Singapore Chapter. In these conferences, he delivers presentations on the recent trends in security attacks, what companies should do to protect themselves against such threats and how companies should manage information security in today’s environment.


Mr. Tee Chun Meng, Manager, Ernst & Young Advisory Pte Ltd

Chun Meng is a manager with Ernst & Young IT Risk and Assurance Services practice with over 8 years of experience in IT security and risk management. He specializes in the development and implementation of security frameworks and architectures, and have assisted our clients with their security management and compliance effort. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Chun Meng headed the security management function at one of the Government agencies for almost 3 years.

Chun Meng is currently holding security qualifications including Professional Diploma in Infocomm Security, CISA, CISSP and SABSA Chartered Foundation Architect. In addition, he is also trained in Enterprise Architecture and is certified in The Open Group Architecture Framework 8.


Dr Ngair Teow Hin, Founder & CEO, SecureAge Technology

Dr. Ngair Teow Hin is the Founder & CEO of SecureAge Technology Pte Ltd. He holds a PhD in Computer science (Univ. of Pennsylvania, USA), MSc in Computer Science (NUS), MA, and BA in Mathematics (Cambridge, UK).

Dr. Ngair spent 13 years as a researcher at Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL, now known as I2R). As a Senior Member of Research Staff, he was engaged in R&D works and innovative commercial product development on information security, multi-lingual computing and Artificial Intelligence. He founded SecureAge Technology in 2003 to focus on creating and commercializing innovative data security solutions. These solutions are now successfully deployed by various governments and large enterprises in the Asia Pacific region.

He is currently Chairman of Security & Governance Chapter (SGC) chapter of Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), and adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.


Eric Lam, Sales Director Enterprise, Symantec Protection Suites, Symantec APJ Specialist Group

Eric Lam joined Symantec  in July 2005 via the Veritas Software merger. As sales director for enterprise, DLP Solutions Group, he is responsible for Symantec’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across Asia, including key markets like ASEAN, India and Korea. His work involves developing new business, as well as promoting DLP best practices and technology adoption strategies in DLP with the largest enterprises in the region. Eric has 10 years of experience in enterprise IT solutions. Before that he spent nearly 9 years as an IT end-user.


Andrew Namboka, Major Accounts Manager, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.

Andrew Namboka is the Major Accounts Manager at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. He is the security consultant for Check Point’s customers in Singapore and the APAC region.

Prior to joining Check Point, Andrew worked as Chief Technologist for Nokia Enterprise Solutions in Singapore, supervising sales engineers and managing technical support for customers and channel partners around the Asia/Pacific region, across 14 countries including China and Japan.

Andrew brings with him over 20 years of experience in the data communications and security industry. He started his career in the field as a lead engineer with IBM UK where he was responsible for building secure banking infrastructure. He then worked with MCI WorldCom as a VPN/PKI implementation specialist in EMEA. In 2000, Andrew joined Nokia UK as a European senior technical consultant before taking on the role of technology manager and subsequently engineering manager for EMEA.

Andrew holds an Engineering Honors Degree in mechanical engineering with specialization in robotics and artificial intelligence.


Mr. Freddie Chin, Product Manager, Security Services, CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited

As a Product Manager for security services in CITIC Telecom CPC, Freddie leads the product development of security services for the company since 2009. He has more than 13 years of information security experience spanning a variety of industries from public sector to financial industries.

Freddie previously held the position of Security Information Officer in BT Hong Kong, leading the managed security services division in South East Asia, helping Tier-1 financial institutions manage their security measures. Prior to that, he was a Regional Information Risk Manager in Manulife, responsible for compliance and governance practices for the group’s branches across Asia.

Freddie is CISSP certified and holds an MSc from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.


Mr. Bryan Sat, Business Development Manager - SaaS/Cloud Services, SEA Region, Kaspersky Lab

Bryan Sat is the Business Development Manager for Kaspersky Lab, an international information security software vendor specialising in exposing, analyzing and neutralizing IT threats. A graduate from Staffordshire University with an honours degree in Computing Technology, he has 10 years’ experience and knowledge in IT Security. At Kaspersky Lab, he is specialised in Hosted Security Service and plays a fundamental role in growing the business in the Southeast Asia region.


Mr. Benjamin Hodge, Director for Technical Services, Astaro Asia

Recently re-located to Singapore from Sydney, Australia, Benjamin Hodge is the Director for Technical Services at Astaro Asia where he is responsible for pre- and post-sales technical support. Ben brings with him several years of networking and software expertise, ranging from AutoCAD, AutoDesk to security and networking products in hardware, software and cloud-based solution platform. Prior to being a top-notch IT Consultant, Ben was a qualified Chef and worked at a variety of fine dining restaurants throughout Sydney. Ben holds various certifications including EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and Certified Ethical Hacker. He also has a mark as ISO 27001 ISMS Certified Auditor, alongside several Microsoft certifications.


Lee Dolsen, Chief Solutions Architect, APAC, Blue Coat Systems

Lee Dolsen has been working in IT security since 1997.  He joined Blue Coat (formerly Cacheflow) in 2000, working as a North American Systems Engineer.  He later relocated to Blue Coat headquarters to work in a Senior Product Management role.  In 2006 he joined the Asia Pacific team as the Chief Solutions Architect for APAC.  Lee lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


Filippo Cassini, Vice President, Systems Engineering, EMEA and APAC, Fortinet

Filippo Cassini has more than a decade of experience in the network security industry. He currently holds the position of VP, Systems Engineering for EMEA and APAC. He covered Engineering positions in EMEA for Fortinet and previously for a pan-european security distributor. Filippo has extensive experience in product development and since 2005 manages Fortinet's consulting team with a focus in large enterprise and ISPs.


Teng Fang Yih, Editor of Computerworld Singapore and Computerworld Malaysia

Teng Fang Yih started out as Features & Online Editor at PC World Singapore/Malaysia in 1995. In 1997, he went on to cover the manufacture and distribution of computer and communications hardware business in Asia for Eurotrade Computer and Eurotrade Communications, as the Regional Editor of both magazines. In late 1998, he became the Deputy Editor of ICommerce and SME IT Guide at IDG Communications (S) Pte Ltd. In 1999, Fang Yih became the Deputy Editor of CIO Asia and co-authored the magazine's editorial formula. He took over as Editor at CIO Asia in 2000. When Fairfax Business Media secured the rights to publish CIO Asia in 2006, Fang Yih headed the title, and managed it till July 2007, after which he assumed responsibility for Computerworld Singapore and Computerworld Malaysia.
