MonsterIndia.com, an online career and recruitment solutions provider, has rolled out an application for Windows Phone.

Users can download the application through Monsterindia.com and Windows Phone Marketplace and search and apply for jobs ‘on the move’ from their Windows smartphone, according to a media statement.

According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the country's mobile subscriber base has increased from 893.84 million in December 2011 to 903.73 million in January 2012. 

Commenting on the launch and India’s mobile industry, Sanjay Modi, Monster.com’s managing director said: “Looking at this growth, we are confident that new media especially mobile technology will continue to play a pivotal role in empowering jobseekers.
