Malaysian telco has chosen the heritage site certified city of Malacca for its 13th store in Malaysia as part of its expansion plan.
U Mobile chief executive officer Dr Kaizah Heerjee said the new store would help enhance the company's presence in the southern region of the country.
"With the new store, we are looking to provide our customers greater convenience and access to our products and services, allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of being a U Mobile subscriber," said Dr Heerjee. "Customers have always been our utmost priority and this initiative too will allow us to hear more from our customers, understand their needs and challenges, and foster closer relationships."
"This is also parallel to our three-pronged strategy, which is to broaden our network coverage and infrastructure, offer innovative products and services to build our brand and extend our reach through traditional and non-traditional distribution channels," he said.
"Services available at the store include providing prepaid starter packs and top-up vouchers, postpaid packages, payment transactions, and customer service support," said Dr Heerjee.
