Dropbox Enterprise vs Box: Dropbox's cloud storage pushes into the enterprise

Scott Carey | June 24, 2016
Can the easy to use file sharing platform take on its corporate rival Box, and win?

Dropbox did launch its Dropbox for Education product in 2014. This offers school and university friendly pricing and terms of service and allows staff and students to share course information, keep track of deadlines and submit work securely.

Dropbox Enterprise vs Box: Conclusion

It looks like Dropbox has taken most of the criticism of its business offering on board with Dropbox Enterprise and is better aligned with Box from a product standpoint. Although Dropbox will always have its evangelists that enjoy using a familiar product, when it comes to purchasing decisions customer relations remain integral.

If Dropbox can improve this side of the business alongside its much-loved product then it will be able to capture some of the coveted big business its more established enterprise competitor generally wins over.
