Gerry Chng, Partner, Ernst & Young Advisory

Gerry Chng is a Partner with Ernst & Young’s Advisory Services Practice and has over 12 years of experience in IT risk management and information security consultation. He heads up the Advanced Security Center in Singapore, one of four global Advanced Security Centers specializing in Attack & Penetration Testing, Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessments, IT Risk Management, and IT Governance. His core specialisation is in the area of web application security and IT Governance, where he frequently advices clients on application security issues as well as organisation on the effective governance of information systems.

Gerry is also the Information Security leader for Ernst & Young's Asean Sub-Area practice, and he holds CISA and CISM certifications, and is also a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.  Gerry is a regular speaker at the annual Computerworld Security forum and has been invited to speak at several other conferences such as the Internet Trust Symposium hosted by MSCTrustGate, Cisco Security Summit, Banking Vietnam 2008 Conference & Expo at HCMC on “Global Information Security Trends” and events hosted by the ISACA, Singapore Chapter.  In these conferences, he delivers presentations on the recent trends in security attacks, what companies should do to protect themselves against such threats and how companies should manage information security in today’s environment.

Aloysius Cheang, Asia Pacific Strategy Advisor, Cloud Security Alliance

Aloysius is Director and Head of Standards Secretariat of Cloud Security Alliance. He has extensive experience implementing multi-million enterprise security and technology programmes for Global 500 organizations worldwide where he orchestrated teams across 4 continents. He is co-editor for ISO/IEC 27032 "Guidelines for Cybersecurity" and his past contributions include ISO/IEC 24762 et al. Aloysius holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and is a doctorate candidate. His professional certifications include CISA, CISSP and GCIH. Rajesh Sreenivasan, Partner, Head of Technology Media and Telecoms Practice, Rajah & Tann LLP

Rajesh Sreenivasan is a Partner and Head of Rajah & Tann LLP’s Technology Media and Telecoms practice. He advises clients on matters relating to telecommunications, electronic commerce, IT contracts, digital forensics and digital media for over fifteen years. His clients include state governments and multinational corporations in the telecoms, IT hardware and software sectors, government linked companies and statutory boards. From a legal-commercial perspective, Rajesh has assisted major organisations in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia in drafting and negotiating complex IT procurement and data centre legal infrastructures, shared services, multi-national IT and IP due diligence exercises and outsourcing arrangements. In the telecoms sector, Rajesh has structured complex IT and telecoms infrastructure procurement agreements based on traditional and PPP models and was the lead telecoms lawyer in the first MVNO arrangements in both Singapore in and in Malaysia as well as counsel for one of the largest domestic submarine cables in the Asia Pacfic region, the US$1.5 billion Palapa Ring project in Indonesia. He has often been engaged by numerous telecoms service providers and equipment manufacturers to secure telecoms regulatory clearance in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

Freddie Chin, Senior Manager, Security Services, CITIC Telecom International CPC

As a Senior Manager for security services in CITIC Telecom CPC, Freddie leads the product development and also the security consulting of security services for the company. He has more than 14 years of information security experience spanning a variety of industries from public sector to financial industries. Freddie previously held the position of Security Information Officer in BT Hong Kong, leading the managed security services division in South East Asia, helping Tier-1 financial institutions manage their security measures. Prior to that, he was a Regional Information Risk Manager in Manulife, responsible for compliance and governance practices for the group’s branches across Asia. Freddie is CISSP certified and holds an MSc from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Eric Chan, Pre-Sales Consulting Director, SEA & HK, Fortinet

Based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Eric Chan is the Pre-Sales Consulting Director for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong at Fortinet. He has more than 10 years of experience in the network security industry. He currently manages the Pre-sales team and is involved in managing large and strategic accounts in the region. Prior to Fortinet, he was working with Dimension Data handling networking and OSS solutions. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering.

Alex Lei, Director, Strategic Sales Group, Asia South, Symantec

Alex Lei, director at Symantec Strategic Sales Group, manages a suite of emerging and focus technologies that seek to help customers by deploying a secured infrastructure; managing the infrastructure; authenticating users and governing information use; and enhancing their security and compliance postures.

Alex has more than 10 years of experience in managing information systems and information security. He has been involved in key projects at some of the leading web commerce firms, multinationals, financial institutions, and governments in the world.

Alex started his career in UUNet / Verizon Business as a Network Systems Engineer. From there he transitioned to developing and supporting large and complex sales solutions in the managed security and security consulting arena with Symantec, and then took on the expanded responsibilities with emerging technologies. Alex’s primary roles in Asia include growing the product revenue, going to market with partners, and acting as an evangelist for the Asia South region.

Chris Camejo, Director, Global Security Consulting, Integralis

Chris Camejo brings over 15 years of security experience. He currently coordinates Integralis’ technical scanning and ethical hacking activities globally. He specialises in penetration testing and vulnerability scanning on the network and application layers. He has further experience conducting physical, telephone and phishing penetration testing. Chris is responsible for the management and delivery of large-scale assessment, penetration testing and compliance projects for Integralis’ global clients. Previously, Chris was responsible for developing and maintaining Integralis’ managed email security solution. Chris holds numerous industry certifications.

Rob Forsyth, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Sophos

Rob Forsyth joined Sophos in 2001 and is Managing Director (Regional Vice President), Asia Pacific based in Sydney. He is an active spokesperson within the IT sector, lending his expertise to industry associations such as the Internet Industry Association (previously Deputy Chairman and Treasurer), The Internet Society (currently Director), and was on the NSW Branch Executive Committee of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) for some 6 years and was appointed a Fellow (FACS) in 2011. Since 2009 he has led the Over the Horizon forum of Cyber Security Week run by the Australian government Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy. In 2011 he was elected to the NSW Board of Crimestoppers, the Australian Federal Governments National Standing Committee on Cloud Computing and the New Zealand Government’s Cyber Security Awareness Advisory Group. Prior to joining Sophos he was employed by the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) where he held responsibility for planning the work force and industrial relations. Prior to working for SOCOG, Forsyth worked for 10 years at a leading IT executive placement and HR company

Alex Lim, Regional Director - South East Asia, Websense

Alex Lim is the Regional Director for Websense South East Asia and he heads the sales team in the region comprising of ASEAN countries. Before joining Websense, Alex was with IT Security companies - IBM, RSA Security and Check Point Software With more than 12 years of vendor-level, channel and enterprise sales experience in the IT security business, he has notable track record in South Asia (India and ASEAN) where his focus was with South Asia sales and business development. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.

Andrew Namboka, Enterprise Security Technologist, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd

Andrew is the Enterprise Security Technologist for Check Point. He is responsible for developing partnerships with customers to build effective solutions for their current and anticipated IT security challenges. He is a well-known security advocate and industry speaker and has more than 20 years of IT industry experience, helping government, telecommunications and commercial companies with their networks. Prior to joining Check Point, Andrew worked as Chief Technologist and Engineering Director for Nokia Enterprise Solutions in Singapore, supervising sales engineers and managing technical support engagements for customers and channel partners around the Asia/Pacific region, across 14 countries including China and Japan. Andrew brings with him over 20 years of experience in the data communications and security industry. He started his career in the field as a lead engineer with IBM UK where he was responsible for building secure retail banking infrastructure. He then worked with MCI WorldCom as a VPN/PKI implementation specialist across EMEA. In 2000, Andrew joined Nokia UK as a European senior technical consultant before taking on the role of technology manager and subsequently engineering manager for EMEA.

Scott Robertson, Vice President Asia Pacific, WatchGuard Technologies Inc.

Scott Robertson is WatchGuard Technologies’ Vice President Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Scott joined WatchGuard in 2007 and has 18 years’ experience in IT and business consulting. He is charged with responsibility for partner alliances, and the channel sales and marketing of WatchGuard’s range of network security appliances and management software in the APAC region. Scott was previously General Manager Asia Pacific for CRYPTOCard, a leader in the network authentication industry, where he held overall responsibility for the organisation’s regional establishment and business growth. He has also worked at Red Hat Asia Pacific, Microsoft and Visio.

Raymond Lay, Asia Pacific Information Security & Compliance Manager, Kraft Foods

Raymond Lay has a strong passion in how business can leverage on technology to enable them to win in the markets. He believes that with proper understanding and implementation of appropriate controls, businesses will be able to race quicker to become market leaders, with the assurance that their information assets are secured. Raymond Lay has more than 15 years of IT and Information Security experience. He works for Kraft Foods Inc as the Regional Manager in the IS Security & Compliance group. His Information Security experience ranges from Mainframe Security, Cloud Computing Security, BS7799/ISO17799/ISO27002 compliance, SOX compliance, standards review, incident response, intrusion analysis, vulnerability assessment, product research, security framework development and training. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head of IT Security in Great Eastern, Senior Consultant in Citrix Systems, Head of Network Security in a government agency and the Regional Lead for Global Networks (Data/Voice/Security) in a global Audit MNC. Raymond holds a B. Accountancy degree from the Nanyang Technological University as well as a number of professional security certifications including CISSP-ISSMP, ISSAP and CISA.

Jonathan Andresen, Director of Product Marketing, Asia Pacific, Blue Coat Systems

Jonathan Andresen is Director of Product Marketing at Blue Coat Systems, Asia-Pacific. Jonathan has been working in the telecommunications sector since 1996 and relocated to Asia in 2003.

Prior to joining Blue Coat Systems, Jonathan held various marketing, strategy and business development management positions in Nortel’s Wireless and Optical Business Units. Jonathan’s career includes positions with Teleglobe, MetroPhotonics and Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

Jonathan holds a Master's Degree of International Management from Carleton University in Canada. Located in Bangkok, he also serves as the Vice-President of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Lim Chin Keng, Director of Field System Engineering and Partner Enablement, ASEAN and Korea, F5 Networks

Lim Chin Keng has more than 17 years of experience in IT, eight of those years in IT consulting. With keen understanding of distributed computing, he has architected complex applications using open technologies like J2EE, CORBA and Web Services. Chin specialises in enterprise architecture for efficient delivery of applications, and network infrastructure design.

Currently in F5 Networks, he is responsible for presales of application and data delivery solutions.

Chin came from Borland Software where he was Director of Borland’s Product Sales Management for APAC. The Borland solutions he managed included application lifecycle management and middleware.

Prior to this role, Chin led a team of solution managers and consultants in BEA and helped companies to architect distributed application infrastructure.

Chin was a Project Manager and Solution Architect in HP Consulting and Integration. Some of the key systems he implemented include high-speed campus LAN/WAN infrastructure, application security and network firewall, server and network management, web application development, and enterprise collaboration tool.

Chin holds a B. Eng in Computer Engineering (First Class) from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
