Executive Appointment: Kenneth Chau appointed Citrix’s Hong Kong and Macau Country Manager

16-year IT and telecom industry veteran has strategic oversight of all Citrix operations in both geographies

Citrix has appointed Kenneth Chau to the post of country manager, Hong Kong and Macau.

According to an announcement by the virtualisation services provider, Chau has strategic oversight of all Citrix operations in both geographies, ensuring the company and its products are well-positioned to achieve business growth.

A newcomer to Citrix, he previously worked for Chinese networking and telecom vendor Huawei as head of sales and channel management, Hong Kong and Macau. Over the course of his 16-year career, he has held consultancy, management and business development roles in the finance, telecommunications and IT sectors and worked for a number of leading global companies including Cisco and Nortel.

Chau is a Computer Science graduate of the University of Hong Kong. He later earned an M.Sc. in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In his new post, he will play a key role in driving engagement with partners and customers and strengthening existing relationships to grow Citrix business in both markets, the company said in a statement.
