How to use the discount: Make your customers an honest offer. Be interesting. Trying to beat every competitor on price is a losing effort in that even if you win the sale, you lose too much margin to prosper. So instead of trying to discount prices lower than everyone else, discount prices in a more interesting and useful way. Leverage data to time the perfect discount at the perfect time and make the sale.
