From shrink wrap boxes to enterprise customisable platforms

Standard Chartered Bank uses Adobe to engage customers across platforms and devices.

In 2002, Adobe purchased Accelio, a Canadian-based electronic forms company. With this acquisition, Adobe built on its PDF legacy to further leverage the format outside of the traditional print and publishing space.

5) You made your name out of selling shrink-wrapped, lower-priced, high-volume software, but going into enterprise-grade and customisable platforms seems like a tall hurdle. How are you looking to overcome that?

Adobe is building on its foundation of changing the world through digital experience and we see enormous growth in the trends of advertising, social, mobile delivery and consumption and the increasing use of video. We've had an aggressive schedule of launches, acquisitions and announcements through 2011 and 2012 and beyond as we continue to leverage the natural synergies we and our customers see in offerings like our Adobe Digital Marketing Suite and Web Experience Management solution.
