Fujitsu has announced a new consulting service that will support the implementation of AI technology in customer manufacturing locations.

The service will use the MONOZUKURI AI Framework as its platform to systematise functions for incorporating AI into manufacturing locations.

Fujitsu will make this consulting service available in Japan from October 2016.

MONOZUKURI AI Framework is made up of learning databases, AI processing engines, security authentication servers, and so forth.

The company is offering this Framework based on the experience gained from using it as a smart manufacturing platform at Fujitsu's manufacturing locations.

Building a learning database

Fujitsu's new consulting service will support the implementation of AI technology by building a learning database for each of the task processes and products in design and production locations.

The MONOZUKURI AI Framework will enable increased AI precision through continuous learning, and also by screening the collected data in response to the customer's needs.

This smart Framework can also distinguish between and appropriately use learning models for each business process and product.

Offered as part of a consulting service, MONOZUKURI will ultimately contribute to the customer's manufacturing transformation.
