In line with their efforts to upskill and grow their data science teams, organisations must conduct trainings to understand the impact of data science on the other parts of the business, as well as how the business can help data science teams to drive results.
4. Closing the skill gaps through partnership
According to the study, very mature firms form partnerships in order to overcome the shortage of data science talents.
Nearly half of very mature organisations (46 percent) said they always outsource the skills that they need, which is higher than maturing or immature companies (29 percent).The study explained that mature organisations recognise their need for help, and get it in the most efficient way possible.
