More than half of APAC companies to undergo vast digital transformation by 2018

IT fully ready for digital transformation

More than half of respondents in the region (55 percent) also believe that IT is fully ready for digital transformation, while 42 percent said that other business functions are fully ready.

However, 29 percent of senior level executives said lack of talent is the top challenge to the implementation of digital transformation in their organisations. While 26 percent considered technology as one of the top three challenges, majority of the respondents (54 percent) view it as a top contributor to the success of digital transformation, followed by top level executives (42 percent).

In line, the report advised companies to understand the role that talent and skills play in this digital landscape, as well as ensure they have the right talents to succeed in digital transformation.
