Collaboration solutions provider, Polycom Inc., has appointed Gabrielle Cichero as its new senior director for marketing in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
In her new position, Cichero is responsible for establishing the company's marketing strategy across the region with a focus on sales alignment and leading key field marketing initiatives. She will also be responsible for driving demand generation and lead management to meet the company's annual growth and operating plans in the region.

Cichero will bring with her more than 15 years of experience in marketing technology solutions and building brands across APJ. She most recently headed the marketing of security company FireEye in APJ.
She has also spent seven years holding multiple roles at Hewlett Packard (HP), including senior director for marketing in APAC. Before that, she spent nine years at Mercury Initiative - a software company acquired by HP in 2006 - holding various marketing posts like director for marketing programmes in APAC.
