This new offering provides users with the ease of creating personalised reports, visualisations and dashboards through simple drag-and-drop techniques, while ensuring centralised data security and governance.

Data discovery company Qlik held yesterday the Singapore leg of Visualise Your World, a data visualisation roadshow held across 20 countries worldwide.

According to Qlik, over 200 delegates in Singapore attended the event to understand the significance of data analytics from Qlik experts and industry leaders.

At the event, Qlik unveiled its newest product offering, Qlik Sense. In its media statement, the vendor said that Qlik Sense is suitable for anyone within an organisation to use, regardless of technical knowledge. It provides users with the ease of creating personalised reports, visualisations and dashboards through simple drag-and-drop techniques, while ensuring centralised data security and governance.

"It's about going beyond simply powering an organisation with the tools to churn out more reports or have more complex, faster systems. What we are doing with Qlik Sense is really disrupting the market of data visualisation, to empower organisations and employees with the ability to visualise their own data easily and be able to make decisions that will help drive the business," said Terry Smagh, Vice President, Qlik Asia.
