FNT Solutions has partnered Singapore-based Idea Device to develop customised solutions for data centres and telecommunications companies across Asia.
Under the collaboration, FNT Solutions will offer its data centre infrastructure management and service management capabilities, while Idea Device will offer its data centre automation solution called Epsilon. Given its agent-less architecture, Epsilon can be accessed from any modern browser to manage any device, server or application that exposes an integration point. It integrates seamlessly with applications and infrastructure stack, bare-metal, virtual or cloud to provide non-disruptive, end-to-end automated business processes.
According to FNT Solutions and Idea Device, the joint customised solutions will enable service providers in Asia to reduce service provisioning time by automating the process of providing computing and other functions across their networks.
The solutions will provide a transparent view of the entire infrastructure available behind these services to manage and optimise network resource utilisation, hence enabling an efficient deployment of these assets.
"This tie-up will enable us to deliver customisable software-defined networks (SDN)/ network functions virtualisation (NFV) orchestration solutions for data centres, telecommunication services providers, and other enterprises," said Joseph Lim, Vice President for Asia Pacific, FNT Solutions.
