"One example of cloud bursting is where a customer - in this case a large library - only needs to conduct an audit once a year. The library can burst its compute power to another customer," he said. "This capability also crosses different kinds of cloud through HP's new services such as HP CloudSystem, which is an integrated open system offering a single services view with multi-hypervisor, multi-OS, heterogeneous structure."
"HP is working with a Malaysia service to offer public cloud services that include cloud bursting capabilities, and elects to work with others in the immediate future," said Kok. "In addition, HP is providing additional security services for enterprise cloud services through vulnerability scanning."
