Career fair in Singapore goes virtual

Nurdianah Md Nur | March 27, 2013
Monster Singapore launches a new platform for companies to find better talents which also helps jobseekers to find suitable jobs without leaving their desks or homes.

While career fairs allow jobseekers and hiring companies to communicate directly with each other to see if they are a good fit, career fairs are time and effort consuming and may not bear fruit.

Understanding this, Monster Singapore – one of the leading online career and recruitment solutions providers in the region – has announced today the launch of its first virtual fair in Singapore.

The Monster Virtual Fair will be held from 2-6 April 2013 and aims to help ease the jobseeking and hiring process.

Local and international jobseekers can log onto the virtual fair platform to know more about job openings in Singapore, chat with the potential employers in real-time via written chat, webinar or skype, and even apply for the positions from practically anywhere on a device with Internet and Flash player.

“The job seeking and hiring process has evolved and Monster remains at the forefront as a leader and innovator. This new platform offers a huge advantage to job seekers as they can check in advance jobs that suit their skill set and desired working environment,” said Sanjay Modi, managing director of Monster.com (India, Middle East and South East Asia).
