Government CIOs and CTOs in APAC-do mark your calendar as a new public sector event has been announced for you.
Information and communications technology (ICT) media, events and research company, Executive Networks Media (ENM), has announced it will be running a Public Sector event in the first half of 2015. The event will be known as the GCIO Forum Singapore.
ENM CEO Mark Hobson said in a statement today that this important strategic development was under consideration for some time and the announcement is finally being made after it received "a number of requests from clients to launch an event in this strategically important vertical".
"It is absolutely essential for any Government forum in Singapore to be closely aligned to the IDA's agenda and objectives to ensure relevance to the Singapore Government community. Attendees will benefit by leveraging global best practices and at the same time contributing to evolving the roadmap to continue Singapore's position as a hyper technology enabled nation" said Hobson.
In tandem with the GCIO Forum Singapore, ENM said it will also be launching a new website specifically for the Public Sector. The new website will be known as GCIO Asia and will be a partner site with CIO Asia which already attracts a substantial public sector readership. ENM recently launched a new website for IT managers and leaders in the Philippines-Computerworld Philippines.
"Through our CIO Summits and Conferences, ENM has always offered clients the opportunity to target multiple industries through one event. The decision to launch the GCIO Forum gives our clients options to target this key vertical with specific messages."
ENM has an exceptionally strong database with almost 100,000 business and IT decision makers, Hobson said. The database is constantly refreshed through our highly successful MarketBase business with more than 4,000 senior Government contacts being added in the past two months.
According to Hobson, ENM has been enhancing its reputation as the leading ICT events company in Asia since a management buyout, and subsequent name change, from Fairfax Business Media 15 months ago. The recent success of the CIO Summit series and CIO Conference has grown ENMs reputation in this area. This, coupled with an outstanding Conference team headed up by Conference Director, Chris White, will ensure the success of the GCIO Forum Singapore, said Hobson.
