New CIOs at the IT helm

Many large firms—such as Ford Motor, Phillips 66, Staples and BNY Mellon—appointed new CIOs this summer.

Tejas Shah was promoted from Vice President, IT to CIO with Netgear.

LPL Financial appointed Scott Seese as CIO. Seese was formerly CIO Global Consumer, Merchant and Channels Technology at American Express.

Dwayne Allen was named CIO for Masonite International. Allen was formerly Divisional CIO of the Global Components Business segment with Cummins.

Michael Skaff is now the CIO for Jewish Senior Living Group. Previously, Skaff was COO with the Masons of California.

Lance Eliot was recently named CIO and Senior Vice President Technology for the Saban Capital Group.

 

Board placements

Julie Lagacy, Vice President and CIO for Caterpillar, was named to the Board of Directors for RPM International.

Patricia Watson, Senior Executive Vice President and CIO for TSYS, was named to the Board of Directors for Rockwell Automation.

Jan Marshall, CIO for Cubic, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement San Diego.

Marina Levinson was elected to the Board of Directors for Carbonite. Levinson is past CIO of NetApp, Palm Inc., and founded and is the CEO of CIO Advisory Group.
