To beef up its regional presence, Software AG has recently appointed a new senior vice president for the Asia Pacific region and Japan. To head up the regional business based in Sydney is Stephen Keys, who was promoted to the senior vice president post.
Keys, who joined Software AG in 2006, was formerly senior vice president for Global Consulting Services for the region. In his new capacity, he will now be responsible for both regional sales and consulting services for the same region.
Software AG said Keys is tasked "to strengthen the company's regional business and drive new growth initiatives around business process excellence in the region". It is a challenge that Keys welcomes.
Said Keys: "It's an exciting time to take the reigns for Software AG in the region. Our expanded product portfolio, including solutions for mobile application development, master data management, in-memory and cloud enablement technology means we can now offer our customers even more to help them improve processes and meet their key business challenges."
Keys takes over from David Powell, who is relocating to the UK to take on a global role with Software AG.
