Avaya transforms communications environments

Introduces outsourcing solutions to benefit businesses from advanced collaboration.

Avaya is transforming communications environments for businesses by introducing a new set of outsourcing services.

Part of the company's portfolio of Managed Services, these services will also increase the performance and reduce costs of business communications networks.

Avaya has a comprehensive portfolio of Managed Services, and the Communications Outsourcing Solutions (COS) is its first fully-outsourced offering that provides custom-built solutions and comprehensive management of a client's entire communications environment.

COS can integrate directly with an organisation's IT processes and manage its overall communications functions including production, billing and operations.

"With a custom-built solution for each client, Avaya Communications Outsourcing Solutions can help remove financial and support constraints for companies, and enable them to get the most out of their communications infrastructure investments," said Ed Nalbandian, vice president, Avaya Operations Services.

Custom-managed services

The custom- managed Avaya Communications Outsourcing Solutions are ideal for businesses that are ready to migrate their ageing infrastructure but have internal resources or budget constraints.

COS will also work fine for businesses that want to improve the cost-efficiency and performance of their existing infrastructure.

Avaya Communications Outsourcing Solutions includes a range of features such as seamless worldwide multi-vendor support; extensive communications applications expertise and support; new operating expense procurement (OpEx) options; and customised service level agreements (SLA).

COS also includes full alignment with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards for multi-vendor environments and a breakthrough communications management platform, Matrix.

Australian marketing and communications company Salmat recently chose Avaya to roll out its new communications environment using Avaya Communications Outsourcing Solutions.
