Darktrace said that it aims to help more organisations across Asia Pacific understand what is happening within their networks, as well as defend against dynamic, advanced cyber threats.

Darktrace, announced yesterday (May 27) that it has partnered with Singapore-based M. Tech, a cyber security and network performance solutions provider, to extend its leading cyber defense technology across Asia Pacific and Oceania.

Called Enterprise Immune System, Darktrace said that this technology marks a new era of cyber defense by detecting advanced external and insider threats within computer networks in real time, without requiring prior knowledge or rules.

Under this partnership, M. Tech has been appointed as a strategic regional partner for the company, as it offers Darktrace its customer base - which spans across M. Tech's network of 32 offices in 17 countries, including Singapore, Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia and New Zealand.

"The Enterprise Immune System fills a major gap in today's security stack, which has traditionally been polarised between blocking threats, and reactively cleaning up after data breaches and compromises," said Sanjay Aurora, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Darktrace.

"We are delighted to join forces with M.Tech to extend our unique, self-learning defense technology to more organisations across Asia-Pacific, helping them understand what is happening within their networks and defend against dynamic, advanced cyber-threats," he added.
