Malaysian telecommunications firm Maxis has launched a new all-in-one prepaid plan for customers in Malaysia, which features the lowest rates in all five categories - voice calls, SMS, surfing, international direct dialling and roaming.
Called Hotlink BAGUS, the plan is available for just RM5 [US$1.62], said Maxis chief executive officer Sandip Das, on 7 March 2012. "With an additional commitment of RM5 [US$1.62] [BAGUS 5], customers will enjoy even lower rates, as well as free data of 10MB."
"Hotlink Bagus which will give our customers the best mobile experience with the best rates, and offer them solutions for their increasingly varied communication needs, whether they are at work, home or on the go," said Das. "We have also always believed that we not only have 14 million customer subscriptions, but also as many relationships. Amarasekera said that existing and as well as new Maxis prepaid customers could benefit from Hotlink BAGUS plan. "Existing customers can migrate to Hotlink BAGUS Plan by keying in *108*21# on their mobile phones and pay a migration fee of only RM1 [US$0.32] to experience the low rates under Hotlink BAGUS.
