New Malaysia office is part of OpenSymmetry's Asia Pacific expansion

Sales performance management and incentive compensation management consultants OpenSymmetry has chosen Kuala Lumpur as its regional Asia Pacific headquarters as part of its global expansion plan.

OpenSymmetry, which has offices in Sydney, Australia, and Chennai, India, said its Asia Pacific operations will be led by the hiring of an industry veteran. OpenSymmetry's new Asia Pacific managing director, Anthony Hutchins will also help to lead the company's global expansion.

Hutchins said the new Malaysia headquarters would continue to provide local coverage to existing customers such as AXA, Westpac, Zurich, Telstra and Vodafone by providing a full range of SPM (sales performance management) service offerings and outsourcing to the growing customers regionally.

"We're anticipating a significant increase in the growth of our consulting team over the next 18 months and are excited about the enhanced capability this will provide to our delivery team," he said. "Our relationships with the leading vendors in the area will continue to ensure the highest quality of Performance Management consulting services."

Hutchins is an experienced technology and sales performance management professional with more than 12 years of experience helping customers deliver sales performance management solutions across EMEA, US and AP, having worked with all of the leading vendors, including Varicent, Callidus, Xactly and Excentive. Hutchins brings a strong diversity across industries specialising in telecommunications, banking, insurance, high-tech and pharmaceuticals.
