Apple's Cards app can be used to create and send cards, perfect for personalised Valentine's Day cards. You may just have left it a little late to get one of Apple's £3.99 cards delivered by 14 February though, but there's always next year. SEE: Cards for iPhone review.
There are several different apps that allow you to send eCards to your loved ones this Valentine's Day, including the Cards' app, which has additional card packs for various occasions available for 69p.
Also available is eCards Express HD, which is available for iPad for £1.49. You can choose from a variety of themes and frames to customise and personalise your card.
Red Stamp Cards offers a more modern range of designs, and lets you choose whether you want to send digital or physical cards, or both. You can also create invitations and more. It's a free app, but there are some in-app purchases that bring extra features.
As for Valentine's Day-themed games, Shrooms 2: Valentine's is available for free from the iOS app store. There's also My Love My Valentine, a 69p level-based game in which players must avoid enemies as they guide their dove to deliver love letters.
