The Creative Cloud Student Teacher Edition is now available on the Adobe SEA store for a promotional price.

The full range of Adobe Creative Cloud is now available on the Adobe SEA store for students and teachers in Singapore, including Creative Cloud Student Teacher Edition.

With more than 30 tools and services, the Adobe Creative Cloud helps students create projects, portfolios and resumes, as well as aids teachers to develop more engaging curriculae and improve collaborative working skills among students.

"In a recent survey conducted across South East Asia, 58 percent of educators responded that they need more tools and training to help them promote creativity in the classroom," said Vicky Skipp, regional director of Adobe South East Asia.

Responding to this, Adobe will roll out an updated Creative Cloud that will be available in June 2013. Adobe's desktop tools—Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro—will be rebranded from Creative Suite (CS) to CC. This reflects that they are an integral part of Creative Cloud and that they have cross-device collaboration and publishing capabilities. Files from these programs can also be stored, synced and shared through Creative Cloud, and an online creative community called Behance.

For individual purchase, the Creative Cloud Student Teacher Edition is available on the Adobe SEA store for a promotional price of S$26 (US$21) monthly till 25 June 2013 and S$39 (US$31) per month thereafter.

For educational institutions, Creative Cloud for teams and Creative Cloud for enterprise options are now available through the Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA), an easy-to-manage, term-based licensing program that gives educational institutions access to the new CC apps.

In related news, Adobe has announced that it will focus on developing the Creative Cloud in future. While Adobe Creative Suite 6 products will continue to be supported and available for purchase, the company has no plans for future releases of Creative Suite or other CS products.
