In an effort to mobilise 85 percent of its workforce by the end of 2013, Chio Lim Stone Forest (CLSF) — an accounting and business advisory group — has implemented a mobile and email collaboration suite from Good Technology.
Good for Enterprise (GFE) allows CLSF's employees to securely access email, documents, contacts, calendar, tasks and the Intranet from any device. Eileen Tan, director of CLSF, said that the company "expects to see an employee productivity gain of at least 40 percent with the deployment of GFE".
The suite also enables administrators to enforce security policies and secure third-party and internally-developed applications as it includes integrated device and application management. Thus, GFE enables CLSF's employees to be mobile while protecting corporate data at all times.
By 2014, CLSF plans to roll out GFE to its Malaysian and Chinese operations.
Aside from GFE, CLSF is considering implementing Good Share as part of its mobility strategy. Good Share will enable mobile employees to access corporate files without requiring a VPN or introducing firewall policies that risks publicly exposing corporate files.
