Honeywell opens Automation Solution Centre in Singapore

The centre will demonstrate the company’s technologies that aim to help customers improve their operational safety, reliability and efficiency

Honeywell, a Fortune 100 diversified technology and manufacturing leader, has recently launched a new Automation Solution Centre (ASC) in Singapore as part of its global deployment of demonstration centres.

The ASC will demonstrate to customers in Asia how Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) can help improve their operational safety, reliability and efficiency.

"Honeywell's solutions can help reduce risks during project pre-deployment improve bottom-line performance during operations. The establishment of this centre will help our customers understand and deploy key technologies that enhance their competitiveness," says Leong Hon Mun, sales director, South East Asia of HPS. 

The ASC will showcase Honeywell's technologies such as Virtualization and Universal I/O that allow customers to build control strategies in a Honeywell-equipped project centre and check it all before deploying the equipments.

Other key Honeywell technologies featured are Open Field Networks, Operator Training Simulators, Advanced Process Control, Optimization, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems, and control and safety systems.

The Singapore-based centre also supports the Field Demo Units (FDU) which are deployed in each of the Asia Pacific countries. These units provide virtual demonstrations at customer sites by leveraging the servers in the ASC through cloud technologies.
