The collaboration will boost the security offerings of JOS.

JOS - a system integrator, solutions provider and technology consultancy in Asia - has partnered global information security solution provider SecureWorks to expand its enterprise IT security in Southeast Asia (SEA).

"JOS has been working with clients across multiple industries including healthcare, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, services and the public sector for the past 17 years in Southeast Asia, and we recognise that the security needs of organisations have evolved from basic web protection services to fully managed security solutions. With this partnership, [both companies] will be better able to meet our clients' increasingly diverse security needs," said Freddy Lee, Managing Director of JOS Southeast Asia in a press statement.

In line with the partnership, JOS will introduce SecureWorks' security offerings including managed security solutions, security and risk consulting services, and incident response and digital forensics.

In addition, JOS will be reselling and implementing the security offerings of SecureWorks while providing an in-country point-of-contract to the clients.

"Effective enterprise security requires more than just technology - it requires proactive risk assessment and encompasses people, real-time threat intelligence, processes and policies. Thus, the need for companies to partner with proven security experts who can provide these solutions is even more prevalent today, as the world has seen how detrimental a slight lapse can be," noted Lee.

JOS said the collaboration will boost its security offerings and include a holistic end-to-end security solutions compatible with any off-the-shelf hardware.
