M1 Limited (M1) launched its small cell solution for business customers on January 7.

The small cell solution is a compact, low-powered and self-optimising 3G mobile base station that delivers enhanced indoor voice coverage and data performance for users within the area.

The Singapore telco said it will be made available to enterprise customers as a value-added service with M1's Connectivity BizPac fibre broadband service.

Available from January 8, the package is priced at S$238 a month (including GST) and includes a 200Mbps fibre broadband connection and the small cell service.

Customers using M1 mobile lines within the small cell's coverage area will also enjoy free unlimited outgoing calls, said the telco in a statement.

"M1's small cell service is a smart solution that delivers enhanced mobile voice and data connectivity to our business customers. This service further extends M1's suite of flexible and cost-effective business solutions, and we will continue to deploy innovative and high-performance solutions that add value to our customers' business," said P. Subramaniam, M1's Chief Marketing Officer.
