The planningIT integrated software suite by alfabet Inc. in the US will play an important role in Singapore's National Electronic Healthcare Record Programme rollout and management.

SINGAPORE, OCTOBER 4, 2010 The holding company for Singapore's public healthcare assets, MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (MOHH), has implemented an integrated software suite called planningIT by US-based vendor of strategic IT planning and management software, alfabet Inc.

In a statement released to the media Monday (October 4), alfabet Inc. said that MOHH will be using planningIT to support its broad range of enterprise architecture initiatives, particularly those to do with its central mission of running Singapore's National Electronic Healthcare Record Program (NEHR), which is meant to transform health care delivery across the island-state by giving medical service providers enhanced means to access and exchange patient information.

The statement also pointed out that planningIT gives MOHH a set of core capabilities to sustainably manage and ensure IT's contribution to the business value…ensuring that costs, quality and risks to IT support are known and considered during decision making.
