SHENZHEN, CHINA, 7 APRIL 2011- Panasonic has unveiled its latest radial component insertion machine RL132 and claims that it offers the industry’s maximum speed at 0.14s/ component.

Designed and manufactured in Singapore, this machine is launched by Panasonic Factory Solutions, a business unit of Panasonic Corporation.

Panasonic’s RL132 features automatic component insertion technology and with this new release, the company aims to conserve energy and cut down material costs for components as well as printed circuit boards.

This machine also has the potential of optimising human resources leading to up to 15 per cent reduction of the total cost of ownership.

Product features

Panasonic notes that its latest radial component insertion machine can improve operating rate through the sequencer system of the component supply unit.

Included in this machine is a dual-partitioned component supply system that enables operation mode selection. Eventually, this results in a highly efficient production, says Panasonic.

The RL132 can expand component size range, enables the insertion of components at any angle, enables high-speed insertion of radial lead components and ensures reliable insertion method of hole position offset and component correction.

Other features include a highly efficient footprint, increased productivity per square metre, user-friendly interface and language options of Japanese, English and Chinese.
