Wilcon Depot -- a construction supply retailer in the Philippines -- has achieved 99.9 percent inventory reporting accuracy rate since leveraging Infor enterprise solutions last year.
Wilcon has implemented Ming.le - a social collaboration, business process improvement, and contextual analysis platform - and ERP solution Infor M3.
According to a joint press release, the move have enabled Wilcon to streamline its automated processes, minimised customisations and removed majority of previous in-house modifications. The company has also been able to maximise the benefits of an integrated system as financial reporting comes directly from the M3 General Ledger, and optimise their operations to enable them to scale for business growth.
As a result, Wilcon has increased its store locations by 275 percent, reduced dead stock by five percent, and achieved an annual growth of 15 percent.
In addition, the reduced supply chain costs have allowed the company to make earlier payments to their suppliers, resulting to increased trade discounts.
"We are continuously innovating, and our investment in technology has proven a tremendous success in driving business growth and enhancing customer service. By creating a clearer view into our inventory, Infor has helped us to not only reduce dead stock, but also to rationalise our product offerings to customers, and we are now in a better position to optimise the profitability of operations," said Rose Ong, SEVP-COO of Wilcon Depot, Inc.
