SunGard's award-winning application suite Investran is supporting the expansion of International Administration Group (Hong Kong) into China.

IAG is a fund administration specialist focused on private equity, real estate, alternative assets and listed corporate structures.

The company is also depending on SunGard's Investran to help it manage increased investment volumes more efficiently.

Investran has the ability to support the entire investment lifecycle, from fundraising to portfolio monitoring and reporting. This application suite successfully automates front-, middle- and back-office processes and also provides real-time, end-to-end solution for private equity and alternative investment firms.

By leveraging Investran, IAG is able to accomplish several tasks including monitoring current investments, managing investor allocations, and automating the accounting workflow with increased transparency for both managers and their investors.

One-stop shop

SunGard's Investran is a single application suite designed to help improve accounting capabilities and automate reporting. It also delivers specialist performance analysis including dynamic investment rate of return.

IAG intends to use Investran's scalable platform and flexibility to take on more complex investment strategies and increased volumes. By doing so, IAG will be able to help clients and its investors receive broad, accurate and timely reporting aligned specifically to their needs.

"When evaluating solutions we needed a robust platform that would help IAG take on funds that have greater complexity without compromising security and audit controls," said Julian Carey, managing director at IAG Private Equity Asia. "Investran will help us take on both onshore and offshore structures investing in China, making us a one-stop shop for global clients."

"IAG joins a growing number of private equity fund administrators and alternative investment firms that are raising their service levels to meet increased demand for transparency," said Lauren Iaslovits, chief operating officer for SunGard's Investran business unit. "Investran will help keep IAG well-positioned as the demand for fast, accurate and flexible reporting continues to grow."
