Singapore-based YCH Group - an end-to-end supply chain management and logistics partner - has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chongqing Banan District Government, Chongqing ASEAN International Logistics, and Y3 Technologies.
The three-year MOU aims to make Chongqing as ASEAN's logisitics hub in China, and will offer logistics and trucking services beyond Laos and Vietnam, to the rest of ASEAN.
According to Zhang Chun Ping, Vice Director of Chongqing Banan District Government: "Chongqing is the hub for road logistics in China and to further enhance its offerings to ASEAN, the project will leverage on the strengths of all companies involved."
YCH Group will handle the bases in Vietnam, Laos and other ASEAN countries to trade goods collection and distribution in China.
On the other hand, Chongqing ASEAN International Logistics Co., Ltd is in charge of ASEAN logistics in provinces in Western China, as well as the trading of goods collection and distribution in ASEAN and the operations of Chongqing ASEAH Highway shuttle.
Meanwhile, the Chongqing Banan District Government will coordinate with port offices, customs, quarantine and other government departments supporting policies at all levels.
Y3 Technologies, on its part, will provide platform solutions which include road logistics information platform for planning, design, development and build. Additionally, it will oversee IT outsourcing business to provide IT infrastructure, platform operations, projects and other related IT consulting services.
