Apple embraces Microsoft in new snub to Google

"Microsoft has done a pretty good job with Bing and with HTML5," Jobs said.

Thus it adds to the considerable revenue flowing through the iTunes App Store which has now delivered a grand total of more than five billion downloads from the library of more than 225,000 apps. Apple's share of the $US1 billion spent on those downloads has been about $350 million. And, of course, everyone is still counting.
