M1 starts selling new iPad in Singapore this Friday

A minute into March 15, 2012, the new iPad will be made available at the M1 Paragon flagship store.

In a statement released Tuesday (March 13, 2012), Singapore communications services provider M1 announced that it will be offering the new iPad beginning 12.01 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, at its flagship store in the shopping mall Paragon. Thereafter, the new iPad can be purchased from M1 at any of its other stores during regular operating hours.

M1 executives said that the iPad from them will come “with a range of attractive data plans that…[enable connections to the telco’s]…High Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network with speeds of up to 21 Mbps.”

On hand to comment on the launch was M1’s Chief Marketing Officer P. Subramaniam, who said: “We are excited to offer the amazing new iPad on our advanced high speed mobile network…This, together with our affordable data plans mean M1’s customers will be able to take full advantage of the power of the new iPad.”
