SingTel to sell new iPad in Singapore this Friday

The iPad will first be made available at its online store.

SingTel (Singapore Telecommunications) announced that it will start selling the new iPad in Singapore from 16 March.

The new iPad will be available online from 12:01 a.m., at all SingTel Shops islandwide from 8:30 a.m. and at selected SingTel exclusive retailers during normal operating hours this Friday, said the telco in a statement today.

SingTel said that it will be offering free home delivery from 3 a.m. on the Friday launch “as an exclusive bonus for online customers.”

Commenting on the launch, Yuen Kuan Moon, the company’s executive vice president, digital consumer said: “SingTel is excited to bring the highly anticipated new iPad to Singapore. Our iPad plans provide compelling value and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of new and existing customers through our award-winning high-speed HSPA+ mobile network.”

In a statement released Tuesday (13 March, 2012), M1 also announced that it will be offering the new iPad beginning, Friday, 16 March, at its flagship store in the shopping mall Paragon.
