South Korea's KT is going to market mobile security solutions from Juniper Networks for the former's corporate customers.
KT and Juniper Networks have recently forged an agreement allowing KT to offer Juniper's Junos Pulse and the Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite to secure the mobile infrastructure of corporate users, including mobile devices.
Juniper Networks said the Junos Pulse Mobile Security Suite can protect KT's corporate customers from cyber threats, such as spyware, viruses and spam, while offering parental controls and other control services for different devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
KT, South Korea's integrated wired and wireless telecommunication service provider, said security and protection are important to their corporate users.
"Providing secure access to rich mobile content and applications is extremely important to KT and our users; a standard we will now provide for corporate users," said Jongin Chai, general manager of KT product department.
Sanjay Beri, vice president and general manager, Junos Pulse Business Unit, Juniper Networks, added that security for mobile devices is important as these devices are being used both for business and personal use.
"Juniper Networks facilitates secure mobility which ensures people and businesses enjoy the value of mobile services and applications without risking loss of sensitive data," Beri said.
KT and Juniper Networks have been collaborating for years. KT has earlier announced that it will be using routers and other hardware from Juniper Networks.
