NCC Group - a cybersecurity and risk mitigation specialist - is collaborating with cyber threat defence company Darktrace to fight against targeted threats.
Via NCC Group's Asia-Pacific headquarters in Sydney, the partnership allows NCC Group's security experts in the Security Operations Centres across the region to use insights gathered from Darktrace's 'Immune System' technology.
These insights will provide comprehensive, mission-critical support for NCC Group's customers in the region, both proactively for ongoing defence and reactively following a cyber incident.
"The Darktrace partnership complements our own research and development strategy around machine learning application in cyber defence scenarios," said Ollie Whitehouse, Technical Director at NCC Group. "We are acutely aware that with a greater number of targeted, skilled attackers at large, companies need to embrace the latest technologies to identify threats earlier than they might otherwise."
"We are proud to be partnering with NCC Group's industry experts to help drive machine learning to the forefront of cyber security," said Sanjay Aurora, Managing Director of Darktrace in Asia-Pacific.
"The days of solely rules and signatures are over, as the battle is moving inside company networks. Organisations need to assume they will be compromised and proactively implement strategies to keep attackers at bay," added Aurora.
